Privacy Policy
Effective 11 October 2026
This policy explains what information the CFO Simulator app for iPhone and iPad and this website collect, why, and what you can do about it. “We” and “us” mean the developer of CFO Simulator.
The short version
- No accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your games and saves stay on your device. We never see them.
- Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your name, email or payment details.
- We only receive something when you choose to send us feedback or a support message.
- We never sell or rent your information, and never use it for advertising.
1. Information stored only on your device
The game keeps your saved games, settings (such as the theme) and small preferences (such as which tips you have seen) on your device. It also keeps a record of which packs you own, so they work offline. This information is never sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it.
2. Purchases
Packs are bought through Apple’s App Store using your Apple Account. Apple processes the payment under Apple’s Privacy Policy. The app checks with Apple, on your device, which packs your Apple Account owns. We do not receive your name, email address, Apple Account details or payment information. Apple gives us sales reports that do not identify you.
3. Feedback sent from inside the game
If you tap Send feedback and press Send, the following is sent to us:
- the type of message (Bug, Idea or Other) and the text you typed;
- only if you turn on “Also send details” (it starts off): your device type and iOS version, your screen size and theme, the game mode, difficulty, detail level and industry you were playing, and how far into the game you were.
It does not include your name, email address, contacts, location, your company name in the game, or any money figures. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and you can see exactly what will be sent before you do. These messages are one-way: we can’t reply to them. Please don’t type personal information into them.
4. Messages sent from this website
If you use the contact form on our Support page, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, the topic, your device if you give it, and your message. We use them only to answer you.
5. How messages reach us
Both kinds of message are delivered to our email inbox by a form service, Web3Forms, which receives them only to pass them on. Like any website, the form service and our email provider may see technical information such as your IP address when a message is sent. See Web3Forms’ privacy policy.
6. How we use information
We use messages only to answer questions, fix bugs and improve the game. We do not use them for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not combine them with other information. We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone, except where the law requires it.
7. Diagnostics from Apple
If you chose “Share with App Developers” in your device’s Settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us. Apple provides these without identifying you. You can turn this off in the same place at any time.
8. How long we keep information
We keep messages only as long as they’re useful to answer you or fix the problem you reported, and we delete them sooner if you ask. Information on your device stays until you delete the app.
9. Your choices and rights
- Sending feedback or support messages is always optional. The game works fully without it.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using the Support page or emailing cfosimulator.support@gmail.com. Because in-game feedback carries no name or email, tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said so we can find it.
- Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. We will honour them.
10. Children
The game has no accounts, ads, chat or tracking, and does not ask for personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
Messages are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Purchases are verified with Apple’s signed records on your device. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we keep what we receive to a minimum.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects what the app collects, we will also update the app’s privacy details on the App Store.
13. Contact
Questions about this policy or your information: use the Support page or email cfosimulator.support@gmail.com.
